This family-owned business was established in 1982 by John and Ed Borkowski. Operating out of Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and New York, Midwest owns 5 million sq. ft. of warehouse space and $172 million in assets. Midwest boasts 750+ employees.
With a focus on food and beverage and consumer goods markets, Midwest provides third-party public and contract warehousing, cross dock services, repack projects, eCommerce, API, EDI RF, bar coding and other supply chain solutions.
Bedford Motor Services, also family owned, was established in 1984 by John and Ed Borkowski to provide truckload and less than truckload delivery as well as freight consolidation, distribution services and other transporting solutions.
This local carrier owns 90+ power units and 400+ trailers, and it employs 100+ individuals. Bedford Motor serves Illinois and its neighboring states (Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana) on a regional basis, and it offers drayage and local LTL services within a 70-mile radius of Chicago.
